9:30AM-2:30PM

If you are interested in beef, sheep, swine, meat goats, rabbits or the chicken projects, this workshop is for you. You’ll learn about:
• Animal Selection
• Basic Nutrition
• Animal Health
• Animal Environment
• Animal Husbandry-What to expect at a show!
• Family Involvement
By sharing ideas and interacting with others, you will find ways to improve your livestock project.

All 4-H Parents with 4-H Members in the 4-H Projects should attend. This workshop is designed to benefit 4-H families already in the livestock programs, as well as, those who are thinking about getting livestock for a project.

The Livestock Committee planning and organizing this workshop are interested in helping families in the livestock project and furthering the success of county livestock projects.

9:00AM-2:30PM- Come & Go Livestock Skillathons

Each Livestock Session
Will Have a Presenter
9:15 Rabbits
10:00 Poultry
Horse
10:30 Beef
11:15 Meat Goats
12:00 Free Lunch
12:45 Swine
1:30 Sheep

Pre-registration is needed to better facilitate setup for the event and number to provide meals for.
