Beef Empire Days welcomes the MRHA Ranch Horse Competition as part of the 49th celebration of Beef Empire Days.

The Ranch Horse Competition showcases the cowboys’ ability to handle their horses, while exchanging idea and techniques to train their horses. This competition is a qualifier for the finals held in Cherokee, Oklahoma. The horse and the rider will be judged on dry work, cow work and roping. 

There will be four classes:
 Open
 Junior Horse
 Intermediate
 Novice

The novice, junior horse, and intermediate classes are intended for non –trainers. If you make a living training horses, you need to enter the open class.
