[ARCHIVED] BEEF EMPIRE DAYS RANCH RODEO

OUTLINE •3 man teams instead 4 •25 teams instead of 20 •Entry Fee $300 per team •Cowboys may participate on ONE team only! •3 minute time limit to do the 3 events: Penning, Doctoring, and Mugging Three head of steers are turned out into the arena at one time. You will have a total of 3 minutes to complete at three events. Each man can do one event or all work together it is your choice. When you get all three events done all three cowboys and their ropes need to run or ride horseback across the finish line to stop the time. •Pay 4 places instead of 3. •$5500 total payout •6 top fastest times go in short-go They will have 3 minutes to rope and tie down 2 head. •Enter forms will be mailed out on May 4th, 2015 and will be posted on facebook and website on May 6th. •Top Horse award will be awarded but have to compete in the Ranch Horse Competition and Ranch Rodeo •If you have questions: Call Deann at Beef Empire Days or email at beefempiredays@gcnet.com. 620-275-6807 Ranch Rodeo Chairman - Dave Pfenninger 575-359-5277 We'll See You at the Finney County Fairgrounds!


On Saturday, June 3 we invite you to enter the Beef Empire Days Ranch Rodeo beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Finney County Fairgrounds Arena. This year’s rodeo will consist of 3 events at one time with a time limit of 3 minute for ranch teams of 3 members.  The top 6 teams will be brought back for the short go.  Beef Empire Days also has a top horse award if you participate in the Ranch Horse Competition and the Ranch Rodeo.

 

 

 

Enclosed are the general rules, the individual event details and entry forms. PLEASE

DO NOT DELAY IN ENTERING AS WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING THE FIRST 25

 

 

 

PAID, COMPLETE ENTRIES. Entry Forms Due Back in the Office by Friday, May 26, 2017. Entry fees are $300 per team and we anticipate that the 25 available spaces will fill quickly.

The payout will be as follows (based upon 25 teams entering):

In the overall rodeo we will pay the top 4 places including

4th Place - $ 825.00 ( per team)
3rd Place - $ 1,100.00 (per team)
2nd Place - $ 1,650.00 (per team)
1st Place - $ 1,925.00 (per team)

We also want to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the dates for the Live and Carcass Show (Tuesday, June 6), and Sponsor Reception, (Wednesday, June 7 the Cattle Working Contest (Thursday June 8), the Carcass Show (Friday, June 9) and the Awards Banquet (Friday, June 9)
