[ARCHIVED] BEEF EMPIRE DAYS RANCH RODEO

Want to know how the traditional cowboy works the herd?

The Ranch Rodeo is an event where traditional working cowboys gather to compete and demonstrate skills that are used every day in cattle ranching operations. Although there are some similarities to rodeos that people are normally accustomed to seeing, ranch rodeo events typically use combinations of roping, horsemanship, and ground work skills to create a more genuine presentation of real-life ranch work.

This is considered to be a team event where everyone works together to get the job done. Teams consist of 3 members with up to 25 teams. Events are doctoring, mugging and penning.

The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Finney County Fairground Arena.

Entry forms are available at https://beefempiredays.com/events/2018/6/2/ranch-rodeo.

The Ranch Rodeo is made possible by the following sponsors: Alltech, Baker Boot, Hampel Oil Distributors, Heritage Feeder’s Sublette and JO Cattle Company

We'll See You at the Finney County Fairgrounds!
