[ARCHIVED] Energy Savings Exceed Original Projection!

We are pleased to report that our energy savings for the last year have exceeded the original projection.

Our first yearly report has measured and verified the energy savings on our utility costs now that we've had our new HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning) systems for one year.

These systems were replaced in 2018 in the Administrative Center, Finney County Courthouse, and Public Library. We were projected to see a total cost savings of more than $300,000. The actual savings for the last year is nearly an additional $30,000 more than originally projected!

We thank the Commission for approving this project and the citizens for allowing us to use your tax dollars more efficiently by increasing our energy efficiency.
