[ARCHIVED] EMS Cancels CPR Classes

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Finney County EMS is no longer holding standard American Heart Association (AHA) CPR classes.

There is an alternative, online solution to receive mandatory certification:

Healthcare workers that need to have their CPR certification renewed can take the online AHA HeartCode BLS blended e-learning course.

  • Purchase the course online, directly from AHA:
  • After completing the online portion of the course, print off the completion certificate.
  • Call Finney County EMS at 620-272-3822 to schedule a skills-checkoff session. The online completion certificate must be presented upon arrival for the checkoff.
  • There is a $10 fee paid to Finney County EMS for the skills checkoff.
  • A valid email address is required to receive the course completion card.
