Clerk

Dori Munyan, County Clerk

Dori Munyan 300

"My goals are to build efficiencies in the office. I want to utilize technology more and I'd like to begin a project in the future to digitalize the accounts payable process."
With almost 20 years of experience in financial services as a financial and business operations analyst, Dori began working as Finney County's part-time financial analyst in 2017. She was then asked to help full-time in the Clerk's Office during election season that same year. Upon the departure of the former County Clerk, Dori stepped in as interim Clerk and was appointed by the Finney County Republican Committee and confirmed by Governor Brownback. In the November 2018 elections, she'll run for the position in order to finish the remaining two years of the unexpired term.

"When I accepted this position, I wanted to focus on accuracy, transparency, and customer service for this office, and ensure those core values are upheld."

While supervising three employees and generally overseeing all aspects of elections, accounts payable, budgets, and levies, Dori also serves as the Secretary to the Board of Commissioners. She maintains the agendas and minutes, publishes legal notices of passed resolutions, and maintains the meeting schedule.
