Research Facilities
The library in the museum is an expanding and excellent research center. This library offers researchers primary sources for the history of Finney County and assistance with genealogy.
The library includes:
- A large photograph collection
- Archives
- Manuscript materials
- Original newspapers
- Maps
- Microfilm of early publications
The library also holds the private letters of such citizens as C.J. "Buffalo" Jones, Senator Clifford Hope, Sr., and the Finnup family.
Doing Research
Appointments to do research should be scheduled before you arrive. Drop-ins are accommodated from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. To make an appointment, email us or call (620) 272-3664.
