Intermediate Supervision

Program Objective

Intermediate Supervision was developed to allow adjudicated offenders the appropriate level of supervision based upon the YLS / CMI Assessment. This program is designed for low-level offenders and is designed to allow them to be supervised at a less intensive level than the Juvenile Intensive Supervision program. This program is ONLY in the 25th Judicial District and is being looked at as a pilot program for the State of Kansas.

Benefits

The biggest benefit for the clients on this program is if they have completed all probation requirements, (which include remaining drug free, no major violations, completed required treatment programs, and attending school and/or full-time job) and all court-ordered conditions are fulfilled, they can then be successfully terminated at one-half of their original sentence. This program has been very successful for the 25th Judicial District.
